I began my career as a financial advisor on the East Coast in 1985 and spent 20 years with a large
regional firm. In 2009, I started with Raymond James and opened Gottshall Capital Partners.
With the passing of my father when I was 16, I experienced firsthand the value of saving and planning
for the unexpected future. This not only started my desire to get into the financial services industry but
instilled the importance of risk management.
I enjoy helping families plan for a financially stable future in which they can comfortably retire and enjoy
the fruits of their labor. Knowing that change can be difficult, I enjoy successfully guiding people through
major life transitions, be it the loss of a loved one, a job change, the decision to retire, and more.
My wife, Lisa, and I reside in Manitowoc. We have 5 children, Lauren, Jacob, Justin, Anna, and Joseph.
Outside of my family, career and community, I enjoy reading, traveling, and golfing at any chance I get.
